Billing & Insurance

Nurture Pediatric Therapy provides speech therapy at our Mishawaka Location. Nurture is in network with: Anthem Commercial, Anthem Medicaid, Traditional Medicaid, UMR, UHC, and MHS
Playology Pediatric Therapy provides occupational therapy and physical therapy at our Mishawaka location. Playology provides speech, occupational, and physical therapy at our Syracuse location. Playology is in network with: Anthem Commercial, Anthem Medicaid, Traditional Medicaid, UMR, UHC, MHS, MDWise
Playology and Nurture both accept self pay patients and provide a super bill for caregivers to request reimbursement from their provider. We have had success doing this with a variety of out of network providers including Cigna, AETNA, and others.
Referrals
Nurture and Playology require a physician’s referral to receive occupational therapy and speech therapy services. We are happy to assist you in this area if you have questions!

How long does the evaluation last?
An evaluation typically lasts 60 minutes. The therapist will discuss your concerns, gather information, complete testing, and create goals for treatment.

How often is therapy?
The therapist will develop a treatment plan according to your child’s needs, your availability for scheduling, and your budget (private pay/insurance).

Do you accept private pay?
Yes! Nurture and Playology have found that private pay is often the better option for families. This allows therapy to occur without limitation.

Do you offer groups?
Yes! Nurture and Playology offer fine motor, sensory, gross motor, and social groups! Contact us for more information on groups.

Do you offer tours of the facility ?
Yes! If you’d like to meet the staff and tour the facility prior to scheduling, contact us to set up a tour!

How involved can I be as the caregiver?
We encourage caregiver involvement. Caregivers may attend sessions or may wait in the waiting room. We are flexible in this area in order to best meet the child’s needs.
